Job Description:

Flowgear is looking for a results‑driven Strategic Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a high-impact, new business role focused on acquiring mid-market and enterprise accounts across South Africa and international markets.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new logo opportunities by engaging with senior stakeholders and articulating how Flowgear solves complex integration and automation challenges.

Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will:

  • Proactively source and close new business opportunities within Flowgear’s ideal customer profile
  • Build a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events
  • Consistently generate 15 to 25 new qualified opportunities per month through self-sourced activities
  • Deliver engaging discovery sessions, tailored demos, and solution presentations
  • Lead complex deal cycles from initial outreach through to contract signature
  • Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales Engineers to scope high-value use cases
  • Negotiate commercial terms and drive urgency to meet and exceed quota
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM hygiene
  • Represent Flowgear at conferences, partner events, and customer-facing engagements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ONLY CANDIDATES WHO ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED WITH A PROVEN SALES TRACK RECORD WILL BE CONSIDERED
  • 5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS or platform sales experience (ideally targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts)
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets in a high-performance environment
  • Ability to sell a technical solution to both business and IT decision-makers
  • Experience engaging C-level and senior stakeholders
  • Strong presentation, objection handling, and deal negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with high accountability and the ability to operate autonomously
  • Coachable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meticulously follow a process

 

Bonus points for:

  • Experience selling integration or automation solutions
  • Exposure to ERP, CRM, HRIS, or industry-specific SaaS systems
  • Existing relationships within partner ecosystems or vertical industries (e.g., Financial Services, Tech, Logistics)
