This Privacy Policy explains how Flowgear collects, uses and protects personal data collected through the Flowgear website at flowgear.net.
Flowgear contracts through two regional entities, Flowgear (Pty) Ltd in South Africa and Flowgear LLC in the United States. The applicable entity is the controller of personal data collected through the website; see Statutory Information for entity details.
This policy covers the website. The processing of customer integration data within the Flowgear platform is governed by the Master Services Agreement and any Data Processing Terms agreed with the customer.
Data we collect

- Contact and demo enquiries: your name, email address, company, and the content of your enquiry, so we can respond.
- Free trial and proof-of-concept sign-up: your name, email address and company, so we can provision and support your trial.
- Integration assessment: the information you provide about your integration requirements, used to prepare your assessment.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for how the website uses browser storage and third-party features. The Flowgear website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use your data
- Respond to you: answering enquiries, demo requests and assessment requests.
- Provide trials: provisioning and supporting free trials and proofs of concept.

- SOC 2 Type II: Flowgear’s controls are independently audited to the SOC 2 Type II standard.

Where your data is stored
The website is operated by Flowgear and hosted with its infrastructure providers. Personal data you submit through the website is processed by Flowgear and its service providers, and may be processed in South Africa, the United States, or other jurisdictions in which Flowgear or its providers operate. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with applicable law.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating the website and delivering our services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and to process it only according to our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law.
