Connect Odoo to the systems that support finance, sales, inventory, ecommerce, CRM, support, reporting, and operational workflows through Odoo's JSON-RPC API. Flowgear uses the Odoo Node to authenticate against the selected Odoo URL and database, retrieve the user ID, and invoke model methods dynamically, so workflows can search, read, create, update, and delete records across Odoo models such as contacts, products, orders, invoices, or custom objects. Metadata-driven samples help designers work with the models and fields available in their own Odoo implementation.
Overview
Odoo is an ERP and business application platform used to manage CRM, sales, accounting, inventory, purchasing, ecommerce, projects, and other operational processes. The Flowgear connector stores the Odoo base URL, database name, username, password, and authenticated user ID in a Connection profile, then sends JSON-RPC requests over HTTP POST to the selected model and method with JSON arguments.
Use Odoo with Flowgear when Odoo records need to move between ERP, CRM, ecommerce, finance, support, reporting, warehouse, or custom systems. The connector supports common methods including search, search_read, read, write, create, and unlink, with keyword options such as limit, offset, order, and context where applicable, while still allowing other Odoo model methods to be invoked by name.
