Leatt Corp designs, develops, and distributes award-winning protective gear for sports, from helmets and braces to protective apparel. Born as a project to improve motorcycle rider safety, the company now sells a global range of products. To grow sales in the North American market, Leatt launched the NuORDER e-commerce portal and needed it to integrate tightly with SAP Business One from day one.

The challenge

Online expansion required real-time SAP accuracy, without a long consulting engagement

NuORDER had to synchronize orders, stock levels, pricing, and customer data with SAP Business One for the launch to work. IT Manager Herman Keuler evaluated SAP's own integration tools but found they did not meet the requirements, and he was explicit about one constraint: "I didn't want to be tied to an ongoing consulting project."
