About the connector

SAP ECC

Connect SAP ECC to the systems that support finance, materials, sales, manufacturing, logistics, and operational workflows through SAP BAPIs. Flowgear uses the SAP ECC Connector to call the internal BAPI selected in the workflow, pass a JSON request payload that matches the BAPI field structure, and return the SAP ECC response as JSON. The connector supports dynamic BAPI consumption, so teams can identify a BAPI in transaction SE37 and call it without waiting for a new connector version for each BAPI.

Overview

SAP ECC is an ERP platform used by organizations to manage core enterprise processes across finance, logistics, procurement, sales, materials, and manufacturing. The Flowgear SAP ECC connector stores application server, system number, gateway, SAP GUI user, password, client, pool, trace, and additional connection parameters, then uses the selected BAPI and JSON request document to execute the SAP operation.

Use SAP ECC with Flowgear when SAP BAPI data needs to move between ECC and CRM, ecommerce, reporting, planning, warehouse, finance, or custom systems. The SAP ECC connector requires a Flowgear DropPoint on the SAP environment where SAP GUI is installed, with access to the SAP SDK libraries and network access to the SAP server.
