Platform Walkthrough and July Connector Highlights

When we built Flowgear 16 years ago, integration was mostly background work: processing transactions across systems without manual intervention. Today, Flowgear is opening up new ways to work, and we're seeing two clear trends.

First, Flowgear is increasingly being used as a backend for custom apps. These apps let teams run multi-step business processes from one place, with Flowgear coordinating the interactions across all the systems involved.

Second, Flowgear is becoming useful for ad-hoc work such as bulk imports, migrations, and process changes. In the past, the effort required to create a one-time Workflow was often too high. Now, your AI agent can use Builder MCP to create Workflows on the fly, even if you only need to use them once.

Here are some of the key things we've shipped in the past month:

• Many console updates including a new MCP pane, improved UI for larger Workflows, and more intuitive setup for Local Clusters and Release Management.
• Ability to call v1 Workflows as Sub-Workflows from v2, which lets you start with v2 by reusing v1 Workflows.
• Added MCP tools to walk v1 Workflow designs and logs, useful for helping automate troubleshooting problems in production.
• Improved Builder MCP tool set with better handling for large volumes of data and long running tasks.
• Stronger diagnostics that surface in the problems pane automatically as you're designing a Workflow.
• Extended coverage of audit trail and added relationships support to v2 Workflows.
